Familia De Radar

Sunday, October 11: Union, MO-2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
We had a 70 mile jump this morning, but it was all Interstate driving, so it just flew by.
The lot was a tight, cement parking lot; I was just happy to be out of the mud. It was a beautiful sunny day, but it sure was cold in the morning.

Both shows were almost full; the first audience was dead, but we got some good laughs from the second crowd. That helped me get over falling on the hard, unforgiving cement. Thank God for my knee braces!

Radar's family was visiting all day. They brought donuts and milk this morning and a HUGE spread of food for this evening's BBQ. It was delicious!

QUESTION:

What do circus personnel do when the season is over?

Some people go home to their families. Some people stick around Winter Quarters and get the show equipment ready for another year. Some people pick up winter work.
Some do a combination of all three!

Have a good winter! Hopefully Kelly Miller Circus will begin their 2010 season again in the Valley. This time I won't miss the show. Hopefully you will again blog in 2010.
