Mamma Mia!

Friday, June 10: Plumsteadville, PA-4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Miles: 23

Lot: fire station

It was nice that we had a short jump this morning that led to a two day stand in one of my favorite towns.

Today Ryan did some more foam carving for props to use in our new gags. When he took a break we went to Chubby's, our favorite ice cream shop EVER. Unfortunately the owner wasn't there, so we didn't get to say "Hi".

Luckily today wasn't as hot as it has been, so doing the shows wasn't as grueling.

There was an average sized crowd for the first show, and we did good business for the second show.

My friend, Mary Kelly Rayel, came to the second show with her boyfriend, Eric Belcher, and their friend, Paul.

Eric was one of the clowns at my very first circus (Ringling Blue) back in 1989...so, some of the blame lies with him!

Also at the second show was photographer, Chris Hill, who has taken some great shots of the show in the past two years. One of his photos of me and Ryan is even hanging up in the circus office wagon.

He was nice enough to bring us two discs of photos, and he took lots of new pictures as well.

After the shows I went with Mary Kelly, Eric and Paul to the Italian restaurant next to the lot; we saw a lot of folks from the show come over to do the same thing.
