Today our friends Rick, Carol, and Johnny were visiting. Rick is a mortician and brought some scalpels for Ryan to use in foam carving; he also brought some donuts to chow down on and a case of Guinness for me.
Carol and her husband, Johnny, brought goody bags for me, Ryan and Tatiana, and Radar.
She included some of her favorite foods (which she said would soon be ours), and Ryan and I got custom welcome mats.
Here is mine:
I am curious as to what role women play in my man cave...
Our other friend Carol, from Maryland, had goodies for us as well via a package she sent to Rick.
The most important content of the package (which was filled with actual factual peanuts instead of packing peanuts) was two packages of Baltimore's Berger cookies. Yum yum!
All in all, it was a GREAT day for getting swag from our friends! Many thanks to all of you!
We had good business for the first show, and there were less people at the second show.
It drizzled all day, which made everything feel dreary, but as soon as we were done working the sun showed itself a bit.
After work I joined Radar, Elisa, and Nikki at an Irish pub for drinks and dinner. The four of us all ordered the exact same thing, fish and chips, so the waitress had a very easy job serving our food.
