"Kin They're Ashamed Of"

Friday, October 12: Troy, IL-4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Miles: 33
Lot: across from RP Lumber

Radar's mom, step dad, and sister came to visit for this two day stand. They always make it out when we get close to St. Louis.

Our CFA Tent is going to be taking part in a convention between the Kapitol Klown Alley and the Emmett Kelly/Bello Nock tent next week.
Ryan and I are making a welcome video that is going to be played during registration; this afternoon we filmed our segment.
After we finally settled on a good filming location (without too much noise, wind, or sun), it took us forever to get a good take. We kept flubbing our lines and cracking each other up.

Tim Tegge came to visit today. He had a car load of goodies to look through; I ended up buying two Ringling programs (1970 Red Show and 1989 Blue Show), and two DVDs of Ringling television specials (1971 Red Unit hosted by Jack Cassidy and 1979 Red Unit hosted by Danny Kaye). Score!

The first audience today was not giving us anything back for our hard work; it was pretty rough. At least the second show was a little better.

Ryan and I have been slacking on our "Scare-athon" this week. Besides both of us being busy with different projects, we just haven't been inspired to watch any of the films we have.
Today I got seven horror movies in the mail from Netflix, so our interest was renewed.
We watched "Pumpkinhead". It was.......a movie. Not exactly the best film to get us back into the swing of things, but you have to start somewhere!

More like Pumpkinbutt. Hotorini!

After the shows I joined Radar's family for dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, Cracker Barrel.

I wouldn't mind watching those Ringling DVDs! If only I was going to be in Hugo sometime in the next couple of months... oh well... ;)
