"And The Coloring Book Comes Autographed And All That S**t?"- Man At Intermission

Thursday, June 20: Bangor, PA-4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Miles: 82
Lot: Jacktown Showgrounds

Yesterday a Bangor cop made Alex take down all the arrows within 4 miles of the lot, so we were relying strictly on the route slips and street signs to find our way this morning.
Thank you for the warm welcome, officer! It's so nice to be in your fine town!

Bob Good, a former performer who we met last winter while doing the Christmas tour, came to visit today.
We didn't get too long to talk with him because we were involved in a photo shoot with twin photographers, Jason and Justin Senft, before and after the first show.

Circus fan Kurt Spence was at the second performance, and he gave me a very interesting article on Kelly Miller from a 1986 issue of "Amusement Business".
I had a good time reading it in the evening; it was interesting to look at tour statistics as well costs of the show and concessions from 27 years ago.
My one gripe with the article: they listed every performer by name except for the clowns. Typical!
Thanks for sharing, Kurt!
