Don't Make A "Spectacle" Of Yourself!

Friday, June 14: Carteret, NJ-4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Miles: 65
Lot: Peter Vezzosi Field

Ryan and I spent today with Ernest Albrecht from "Spectacle Magazine". He interviewed us in the morning, and then chatted with us while observing our working relationship throughout the day. His plan is to do a feature article on us for an upcoming issue, and I imagine he will write a review of the Kelly Miller performance as well.

Maike, the photographer for "Spectacle", took many photos of us during the afternoon. She was there while we unloaded props, while we were hanging out, as well as when we made up. I can't wait to see what she shot; I think she got some very fun and funny pictures.
It's a shame she didn't have a better landscape to shoot against. The ground on the lot is completely soaked, and the big trucks left lots of muddy ruts.

Ernie and Maike watched both shows tonight. Ryan and I were so grateful that they took the time to come get to know us today; it is an honor that Ernie wants to do a feature article about us.

Ryan and I had other visitors at both shows. Doug, a performer in the area, came to visit and watch the first show, and Michael Bongar, an agent from NYC, came to the second show with his actor friend, Patrick Garner.

Doug didn't get to stay too long after the first show, but Ryan and I had a nice visit with Michael and Patrick after the second performance. They both shared acting stories, and Michael shared some tales from his time at Clown College and from his seasons on Rudy Bros. Circus back in the mid 1970s.
