"Where Are The Midgets?"- Little Girl At Intermission

Sunday, July 28: Kinsman, OH-2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Miles: 83
Lot: Old School Grounds

There is a huge, three story, used book store in Kinsman that is just down the street from the lot. After browsing for awhile I started to get a headache; I'm not sure if it was from trying to pick out titles from the haphazard way the books were (un)organized, or from the musty moldy smell of the place.

I did find three books that piqued my interest though: "Rosemary's Baby" by Ira Levin, an autobiography by Stan Freberg (cartoon voice actor extraordinaire), and a complete illustrated guide to Warner Bros. cartoons.
I picked up a little bit of trivia from the man who owned the book/antique store as well. Leigh Brackett, who wrote the screenplay for "Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back", is from Kinsman.
That explained why the authentic 1950s soda fountain contained an items on the menu such as a Yoda Soda and a Hoth Sundae.

In closing, here are a couple of photos sent in from our fans:
