Sunday, August 11: New Hudson, MI-2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Lot: Atchinson Park
The lot in Wayne was surrounded by a fence, so it wasn't easy to leave in the morning. I had to wait for awhile until some people moved out of the way, and then I was able to hit the road.
Our friends, Carol and Johnny, came to visit today. They brought sandwiches for lunch, and they also brought awesome gift bags for me, Ryan and his family, and Radar and Elisa.
Thank you so much, guys!
At the first Intermission a man walked up and asked us if we had been with Ringling. We found out that his name is Kelly Blades, and he went to Clown College in 1989.
He is from New Hudson originally, but I didn't know he was in the area. That has been one nice thing about selling coloring books this year - we get to meet a lot of people we wouldn't have the chance to otherwise.
After the shows we had a great barbecue with the delicious food that Johnny and Carol brought. The spread put our usual burgers and brats menu to shame!
